Location: Remote, CA - Headquarters in Los Angeles
Compensation: $120,000-195,000
Position Description:
Our outstanding toxic tort practice area is in search of a Commercial Litigation Attorney with 1 + years of experience in commercial litigation, focusing on toxic torts. The successful candidate must demonstrate a strong academic background, exceptional written and oral communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
Requirements:
-1 + years of defense litigation experience, with a focus in toxic torts. Admitted to the California
-State Bar and be in good standing.
-Commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
-Familiarity drafting original motions and other litigation-related documents on complex matters
-Preferred strong academic record -
-Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Responsibilities:
-Taking and defending expert and witness depositions
-Drafting original motions and other litigation-related documents on complex matters
-Drafting discovery requests and responses to be exchanged with various parties
-Developing client relationships through oral and written communication
-Preparation for trial including motions in limine, exhibit lists, witness lists
Years of Experience:
Minimum of 1+ year of asbestos defense experience is preferred
Tox tort experience required
Billable Hours:
1750 billable hour requirement.
Number of Attorneys: 40+

Salary: $120,000- $195,000 Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
