Job Description

Growing law firm is seeking a Case Assistant / Jr. Paralegal to join their team in Denver. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience supporting a litigation practice group. Outstanding opportunity to join a firm with excellent company culture where hard work is recognized and rewarded!

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare discovery requests, depo notices, subpoenas, motions, and other pleadings.
  • Maintain and organize case files.
  • Effectively communicate with clients, paralegals, attorneys, the courts and other parties.
  • Manage electronic files within the database and assist with updates.
  • Assist with eDiscovery including assembling documents for productions and reviewing documents from opposing party productions.
  • E-File in State and Federal Courts.
  • Schedule meetings/events and manage multiple attorney calendars.
  • Enter billable time into timekeeping software.
  • Draft correspondence for attorney review.
  • Other administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role (e.g., paralegal, LA, etc.) supporting litigation attorneys.
  • Paralegal certificate and/or bachelor's degree preferred. Equivalent experience also accepted.
  • Knowledge of Colorado Rules of Civil Procedure (CRCP).
  • Complex litigation experience is a plus (e.g. insurance defense, commercial litigation, etc.)
  • Strong computer skills and advanced proficiency with all Microsoft Office programs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Offering a base salary of $55,000 - $65,000 D.O.E. and comprehensive benefits package.
