Overview: Our client in downtown Denver is looking for a Litigation Associate Attorney to join their excellent Defense Litigation practice. The ideal candidate will have 0-5 years of litigation experience.
Candidates must currently be licensed to practice in Colorado.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct legal research and analysis on various aspects of defense litigation cases.
* Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
* Assist in the preparation and review of discovery requests and responses.
* Prepare witnesses for depositions and hearings.
* Attend court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and settlement conferences.
* Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholders.
* Assist in case strategy development and execution.
* Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on case management and trial preparation.
* Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends in defense litigation.
* Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervising attorneys.
Qualifications:
* Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree from an ABA Accredited Law School.
* 0-5 years of solid experience in law firms
* Strong writing and research skills.
* Possession of a license to practice law in Colorado.
* Ability to handle a fast-paced workload and contribute to multiple projects simultaneously.
* Strong research, problem-solving, and client relationship skills.
* Proficiency in using technology for legal research and case management.
* Outgoing, collegial, and collaborative demeanor.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Keen attention to detail and strong writing skills.
Benefits:
* Salary: $80,000 - $170,000 (Depending on experience)
