Job Description

Boutique law firm in West LA has an immediate need for an experienced Legal Assistant or Paralegal with at least 2 years of Plaintiff Personal Injury experience to join their team.

Job Duties:

• Handling cases from intake through settlement including pre-litigation duties
• Drafting complex demand letters and medical record summaries
• Preparing mediation and arbitration briefs
• Managing docketing calendar
• Running point on communication with clients, adjusters and attorneys
• Managing client files

Qualifications:

• 2+ years plaintiff personal injury experience
• Strong understanding the pre-litigation and litigation process
• State e-filing experience required
• Paralegal Certificate is a plus

This is a long-term contract position with flexible hours. Compensation: $28 - $38/hour depending on experience.
