Job Title: Contracts Administrator

Department: Legal

Position Reports To: Legal Director Job Status: Full-time Exempt Language: English

Location: Remote

 

Basic Function:

The Contracts Administrator is responsible for drafting and shepherding the SOW and Change Order lifecycle from start to execution. This includes drafting the contract from CVI product templates, running it through the internal approvals process and making any required revisions, then aligning the contract with the accounting and filing systems for final handoff. General Legal Department duties include some data entry, reporting, filling in vendor questionnaires from customers and assisting with miscellaneous legal administrative duties.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

1.       Contracts Drafting

a.       Accept and verify the Salesforce opportunity

b.       Draft the contract based on CVI product templates

c.       Route the contract for approvals, revisions and signature

 

2.       Contracts Administration/Tracking

a.       Align the Salesforce opportunity file with the final signed contract

b.       Build the project file in Box

c.       Later corrections to the Salesforce opportunity file

d.       Build customers template library

e.       Data entry of MSA and SOW metadata into SFDC

 

3.       Special Legal Department Projects:

a.       Vendor questionnaire preparation, tracking, delegation

b.       Insurance application assistance annually

c.       Other projects as CA is available

 

Required Skills and Education:

·       Bachelor's degree (writing, rhetoric, pre-law, literature a plus)

·       Paralegal or contracts admin/management experience preferred (3-5 years)

·       Understands the contracts lifecycle and the relationship of contracts to each other

·       Ability to work well under deadlines and time pressures

·       Excellent professional communication skills

·       Independent thinker, proactive, self-starter

·       Excellent writing skills

·       Proficient in Word, Adobe, Excel; experience with Salesforce and Box a plus

·       No vacation or time off last week of every quarter; not vacation last three weeks of December (other than holidays)
