Reputable CA law firm has an opening for an Associate Attorney with experience in education or administrative law to join their North County office. Ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of legal experience, preferably in specified practice areas, but this is negotiable. This role will help build client relationships, review and revise policies and procedures, and respond to state and federal compliance complaints as well as attend administrative due process hearings. Litigation Attorney must have strong law & motion skills, and the ability to work a case up to trial.  This is a direct-hire opportunity at a firm that offers work-life balance, low billable requirement, full benefits, and has a competitive bonus plan.  Please send resumes for immediate and confidential consideration.

Attorney responsibilities include:

  • Independently work on litigation caseload
  • Strong knowledge of litigation process
  • Make appearances at court
  • Take and defend depositions
  • Discovery
  • Prepare for mediation, arbitration, and trial
  • Law and motion
Job Requirements
  • State Bar of California (Active, Good Standing)
  • Strong litigation experience, employment law is a huge plus
  • Extensive experience with MSJ's (must provide writing samples
  • Licensed to practice in the State of California in good standing
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
