Seeking Experienced Civil Litigation Paralegal for Dynamic Legal Team

Responsibilities:

  1. Civil Litigation Paralegal Case Management: Assist attorneys in all phases of civil litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
  2. Document Review: Organize, review, and analyze documents for discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
  3. Legal Research: Conduct legal research on case-specific issues, statutes, and regulations, utilizing Civil Litigation Paralegal expertise.
  4. Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel to coordinate depositions, hearings, and trial schedules. Civil Litigation Paralegal proficiency in client interactions is essential.
  5. Trial Support: Prepare trial exhibits, witness lists, and other trial-related materials. Attend trials to provide support to attorneys as needed, showcasing Civil Litigation Paralegal skills.
  6. Administrative Tasks: Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and maintain case files in an organized manner, demonstrating Civil Litigation Paralegal efficiency.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate from an accredited institution preferred.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Civil Litigation Paralegal, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of civil litigation procedures.
  3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, legal research platforms (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis), and case management software, essential for effective Civil Litigation Paralegal support.
  4. Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues, reflecting Civil Litigation Paralegal professionalism.
