National insurance defense firm seeks an experienced Civil Litigator to join their collegial office in Sacramento. This highly respected firm has experienced steady growth and now adding an attorney with 4-10 years of experience in a litigation environment to grow with the team. The office consists of five attorneys and two support staff who focus exclusively on complex cases. They believe there can be a work-life balance while serving the complex needs of their clients. The Managing Partner is eager to mentor a self-directed, bright Associate who may not always have the solution but will offer suggestions when guidance is needed to show initiative and creativity.
First- or second-chair trial experience managing other attorneys and expectations of clients
4-10 years of litigation experience
Experience settling close to trial with motions for summary judgement
Professional communication skills, even in times of high stress
Creative strategy and argumentation
