Job Description

The Litigation Legal Secretary will provide administrative support to attorneys in a fast-paced legal environment. Responsibilities include preparing and filing legal documents, managing case files, scheduling appointments and court dates, coordinating communication between clients, attorneys, and court personnel, and performing general office tasks such as answering phones and maintaining calendars. Must be able to work in San Francisco, CA and go into the office 2-3 days/ per week!

Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery materials.
2. Maintain case files and ensure all documents are organized and up-to-date.
3. Schedule appointments, court dates, and depositions for attorneys.
4. Coordinate communication between clients, attorneys, and court personnel.
5. Assist attorneys with research tasks, including case law and legal precedent.
6. Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and phone calls.
7. Perform general office tasks, such as photocopying, scanning, and filing documents.
8. Maintain attorney calendars and assist with scheduling meetings and conferences.
9. Assist with billing and timekeeping tasks as needed.
10. Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions with clients and colleagues.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Previous experience as a legal secretary or in a law office setting preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software programs.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures related to litigation.

This position is offering $45-55/hour.
