Job Description

West Los Angeles law firm is looking for a sharp Litigation Secretary with 2 + years of civil litigation experience. Litigation Secretary should have the ability to multi task. Litigation Secretary should have in depth knowledge of federal and state court rules and E-filing experience.  Litigation Secretary will manage attorneys calendar for important deadlines, meetings, and assist with all cases. Minimum of 2 years of law firm experience required
Advanced skills in Word 2016 (using styles, generating TOC/TOA, track changes, document comparison) and Outlook; basic proficiency in Excel
Experience with the following software highly preferred: NetDocs, CompuLaw, Best Authority, Adobe Acrobat Pro/DC
Knowledge of and experience with federal and state court systems including federal e-filing and state court online filing systems
Exceptional grammar, spelling, and proofreading skills
Fundamental knowledge of legal terminology, court rules and procedures
