Southern California based law firm seeks talented Legal Secretary to join its Downtown Los Angeles team. In this Legal Secretary role, you will be responsible for supporting multiple transactional and litigation attorneys. You will need some litigation experience, strong Word skills, and state and federal 3-filing. This is an opportunity to be part of a team-oriented environment.
Legal Secretary job responsibilities
Organizes, correlates and edits drafts of correspondence, pleadings and discovery to firm format standards
Use Word, Outlook and other Microsoft Office products at an advanced level
Assist with Document Management System and Email Management System
Handle or assist with client matters; meetings, telephone, and email
Education and Experience
High school or equivalent required; college given preference
Knowledge of state and federal filing and e-filing
PDF/Nuance program experience and NetDocuments program experience a plus
