Seeking a Skilled IP Patent Prosecution Docketing Specialist

We are excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced IP Patent Prosecution Docketing Specialist to join our dynamic legal team. This full-time position is available iwith a flexible remote/hybrid work arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review all incoming communications related to patent matters to determine and enter due dates into our computerized docket databases.
  • Process and update information in the docketing database, including PTO EFS filing receipts and outgoing correspondence.
  • Prepare reports and follow up on daily dockets to ensure compliance with deadlines.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate database entries and support other docket specialists in ensuring accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in Foreign patent prosecution docketing required.
  • Familiarity with U.S. patent prosecution docketing and USPTO procedures preferred.
  • Proficient with docketing software such as CPI, Inprotech, Foundation IP, IP Manager.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with PAIR and other international IP law databases.

Work Environment:

  • Position requires occasional overtime as workload dictates.
  • While based in one of our local offices, remote work flexibility is provided, requiring physical office presence as needed.

Compensation:

  • Hourly pay ranges from $27.00 to $55.00, depending on experience and qualifications.
