Adams & Martin Group is seeking a Senior Associate (Business) for an exceptional opportunity where this position will be part of a succession plan for the managing partner!
Our client is seeking an experienced business transactional associate attorney for its northern California offices.
The candidate should have experience in in all matters relating to business entities - formation and representation, succession planning, purchase and sale, contracts, and leases. A tax and accounting background is especially welcome.
Successful candidates will show a willingness to learn and to be coached by a senior partner, have an interest in community involvement, and a desire to establish himself/herself in the firm's geographic market.
This position involves working directly with the senior partner in managing a broad-based book of transactional work. The work is fast-paced and emphasizes client service.
Education and Experience
The ideal candidate must be licensed to practice law in the state of California and have a minimum of 5 years of experience. He or she must possess strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to manage multiple tasks.
In addition, the person must have strong interpersonal skills to communicate tactfully with a diverse group of attorneys, staff, and clients.
The candidate must be organized, good at prioritizing tasks, and detail-oriented. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and education and will include opportunities for bonuses based on production. A comprehensive benefits package is included.
