AMG is collaborating with a long-term partner, a boutique law firm specializing in family law, to find an experienced paralegal to join their team and support their growing clientele. The firm boasts generations of experience and board-certified attorneys ready to guide you. This is an opportunity to contribute to a firm where your expertise will be valued and your professional growth will be supported. Moreover, this position is open to both temp-to-hire and direct hire options, allowing the opportunity to test out the team and role to ensure a great fit.


  • Manage cases from inception to settlement/trial
  • Draft family law legal documents
  • Ensure all deadlines are met
  • Organize files
  • Prepare documents for court
  • Support attorneys during hearings, depos, and trial


  • Minimum of 3 years (ideally 5) of experience in family law litigation
  • Paralegal certificate or equivalent preferred
  • Superior time management skills
  • Excellent writing and language abilities
  • Knowledge of California Code of Civil Procedure and California State Court rules and procedures
  • Competence in investigating, documenting, and resolving issues promptly and professionally
  • Ability to generate trust and build relationships with coworkers and clients
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism to protect the privacy of clients
