Job Description

Local Non-Profit has an immediate opening for a driven and reliable Contract Paralegal with 3 years of project support experience. This position is a remote position, part-time 20 hours a week, for an approximate duration of 20 weeks.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

*             Provide general paralegal support and perform special projects for the legal department.
*             Process and template contract development and maintenance - Identify, draft, and implement global contracting processes to improve and refine contracting operations.
*             Analyze, review, and negotiate legal provisions within a variety of contracts.
*             Administer electronic signatures for contracts and other documents.
*             Provide legal proofreading on contracts and other documents.
*             Research trademark infringement and develop drafts of cease-and-desist letters.
*             Perform research on legal and regulatory issues.
*             Assist in revision and publication and monitoring of legal content for Client intranet.
*             Coordinate legalization and apostilles for corporate documents and international registrations and assist attorneys with international compliance matters.
*             Assist with due diligence and document review.
*             Prepare/revise general correspondence, memoranda, reports, PowerPoint presentations and other legal documents.
Requirements:
*             Bachelor's degree.
*             Legal background or Paralegal Certification.
*             Contract review experience.
