Job Description

Respected law firm with a national presence has a new opening for an experienced Legal BillingSpecialist! Industry-leading compensation and comprehensive benefits offered! 
 
Job Duties: 

• Handle various billing processes, including split-party billing, flat fees, discounts and other arrangements. 
• Distribution, revision, and finalization of proformas. 
• Monitor the rates, client addresses and billing notes during the proforma process. 
• Ensure delivery of client invoices via paper mail, email, or through the online portal. 
• Follow up regarding aging invoices and coordinate client communication with other team members. 
• Ensure accurate reporting and provide up-to-date billing and A/R information upon request.  

 
Qualifications and Requirements: 

• Minimum of 3-5 years of billing experience within a law firm setting - REQUIRED. 
• College degree in accounting/finance or equivalent experience. 
• Experience with legal billing software highly preferred. 
• Must be deadline oriented and quick to take initiative. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication, and customer service skills. 
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS 365 programs. 
• Must be able to commute to the firm's office location in downtown Denver 3 days per week (working from home is allowed the other 2 days/week).
