Firm is actively seeking for a temp to hire, Employment Law Litigation Paralegal,
The employment litigation paralegal will be responsible for a variety of activities, including without limitation:
* Completing the sign-up process with new clients and ensuring that all documents are received and signed compliant
* Interviewing new clients to obtain essential factual background
* Being the main point of contact for clients who are seeking updates and information
* Ensuring that new information provided throughout a matter is properly placed in systems
* Organizing and coordinating document production and compliance with document preservation requirements and discovery obligations related to employment litigation.
* Working with attorneys in preparing draft pleadings, discovery and document requests, declarations, deposition summaries, and litigation-related correspondence.
* Monitoring pending non-litigation and litigation matters and initiating action to ensure that pleadings, forms, reports, correspondence, insurance notifications and other legal documents are prepared and submitted within established deadlines.
* Supporting attorneys in scheduling and coordinating interviews of clients or others as necessary.
* Creating and maintaining templates
* Tracking, calendaring, and maintaining deadline-driven documents.
* At least 3 years of experience with a reputable, highly rated law firm, and/or in-house legal department.
* Familiarity with employment laws.
* Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, Prioritizing, meet deadlines
* An understanding of the importance of confidentiality to an employment litigation setting and disciplined
Microsoft Office, legal research software, and various cloud applications
* Bachelor's degree (preferred).
* Paralegal certification or equivalent experience.
