Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Draft and proofread various contracts, memorandums, nondisclosure agreements, correspondence, and other legal documents
  • Maintain a filing and organization system of various business entity documents
  • Conduct research on various legislation and regulations to ensure company compliance
  • Review various documents for understanding, compliance, and conformity to company guidelines
  • Interface and communicate with law firms
  • Support related to litigation, mediation, arbitration, and response to complaints
  • Assist with additional projects as needed
  • Work 4 days in office and 1 day at home
 
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Paralegal certificate and/or job experience as a paralegal
  • Excellent organizational skills, time management, prioritization, problem-solving, and attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to treat confidential information with appropriate discretion
  • Proven ability to be proactive, organized and a self-starter
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic and intense attention to detail.
  • Motivated and desire to expand one's knowledge, impact, and role
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
