Prominent national law firm is seeking a Litigation Secretary with 5+ years of civil litigation defense experience to join their Labor & Employment group in Century City.
The ideal Litigation Secretary candidate will have 5+ years of Labor & Employment Defense experience, familiarity with CompuLaw or other similar program, and strong knowledge of court rules and civil procedures at the state and federal levels.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· E-filing with state and federal courts
· Drafting and proofreading correspondence with clients, courts and opposing counsel
· Generating and editing TOCs & TOAs using Word Styles
· Calendaring deadlines for assigned attorneys
· Assisting with trial and deposition prep
Required Knowledge & Experience:
· Minimum 5+ years of defense side litigation experience; Labor & Employment experience strongly preferred
· Experience with Macros and Microsoft Word Styles preferred
· Knowledge of court rules and civil procedures at the state and federal levels
· Diligent attention to detail
· Strong organizational and time management skills
Firm offers generous benefits, hybrid work schedules, and is targeting a salary range of $100k - $120k annually depending on experience.
