Job Title: Litigation Secretary
Job Description: Boutique firm in West Los Angeles seeks an experienced Insurance Defense Litigation Secretary with 5-7+ years of experience to join their team. The ideal Insurance Defense Litigation Secretary has supported partner-level associates, has strong calendaring and efiling knowledge (state and federal), and ideally has managed a team of support staff as well.
Litigation Secretary Job Duties:
- Assist in managing a growing caseload of litigation cases
- Perform filing tasks and manage discovery processes
- Proofread legal documents, serving as the final reviewer
- Handle calendaring of internal and court deadlines and scheduling for legal proceedings
- Provide managerial support and oversight to additional support staff, when needed.
Litigation Secretary Job Requirements:
- 1-5 years of experience as a Litigation Secretary, preferably within Insurance Defense
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
