Job Description

Adams and Martin Group is working with a client to find a highly experienced Paralegal with a focus on Insurance Defense for a long term contract. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience, be well-versed in Florida law, and be able to handle complex insurance defense matters. This role is remote-friendly, and the candidate does not need to reside in Florida. The client is an AM100 law firm offering a competitive compensation package.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist attorneys in all phases of insurance defense litigation.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and correspondence.
• Conduct legal research, especially in relation to Florida insurance law.
• Coordinate document productions, including the collection, review, and production of documents.
• Manage case files and assist in trial preparation.
• Interact with clients, witnesses, and outside vendors to ensure case deadlines are met.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a paralegal in insurance defense.
• Strong knowledge of Florida state laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in legal research and document management tools.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work hybrid
