Location: Denver, CO, or Colorado Springs, CO or Glenwood Springs, CO

Experience Required: 7+ Years in Water Law

License: Must be Licensed to Practice in Colorado

Practice Group: Willing to Move Entire Practice Group or have enough business to build out practice group.

The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in water law, with a proven track record of success in managing complex cases and representing clients in various water-related legal matters. This is an exciting opportunity for an established attorney looking to take the next step in their career by moving themselves or their entire practice group to a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Water Law Practice: Oversee and manage a diverse portfolio of water law cases, including water rights, water quality, and regulatory compliance.

Client Representation: Provide expert legal counsel to clients, representing them in negotiations, litigation, and regulatory matters related to water law.

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of attorneys, paralegals, and support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

Business Development: Develop and maintain strong client relationships, actively seeking new business opportunities to grow the firm's water law practice.

Practice Group Integration: Successfully integrate your existing practice group into our firm, ensuring a smooth transition for both clients and team members.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of dedicated experience in water law, with a deep understanding of Colorado water rights, water resource management, and related legal issues.

Licensure: Must be licensed to practice law in the state of Colorado.

Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead a practice group, with a history of successfully managing and mentoring legal teams.

Client Focused: Strong client relationship management skills, with the ability to communicate complex legal issues clearly and effectively.

Business Acumen: Proven track record in business development, with the ability to attract and retain clients.

Portable Book: This needs to be $500,000+ in portable business.
