Position: Family Law & Estate Planning Attorney - Hybrid

Location: Centennial, Colorado

Type: Direct Hire

Billable Hour Requirement: 110-120+ in monthly billable requirements

Job Overview: Our client, an established law firm with over two decades of experience is looking for an Estate Planning and Family Law Attorney to join their team in a full-time hybrid/remote role. They foster a collaborative, family-oriented environment where each team member's personal and professional growth is valued.

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of legal experience, preferably in family law, and will be ready to handle a variety of family law cases with minimal oversight. They're seeking a highly intelligent, compassionate, and assertive attorney who can balance empathy with strong advocacy. You should have experience preparing for and attending family law hearings, handling divorcing families, financial disclosures, and custody disputes.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle family law (divorce, prenups, postnups, visitation, child custody, spousal support, etc.), estate planning, probate, and some criminal cases.

Manage client cases from start to finish, including discovery, pleadings, motions, mediations, hearings, and trials.

Conduct client meetings, recommend strategies, and delegate tasks to paralegals and assistants

Develop case strategies while ensuring procedural rules are adhered to.

Represent clients confidently and competently in court (both virtually and in person).

Provide expert legal advice to clients, ensuring clear communication and effective legal strategies.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Licensed to practice law in the state of Colorado.

Minimum 2 years of experience in estate planning and family law litigation

Strong courtroom presence and the ability to develop and execute case strategies

A personable, professional demeanor with a commitment to helping clients through life transitions.

Strong research, writing, and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or as part of a team.

Firm Reputation: Well known for their excellent reputation in the legal community.

Compensation & Benefits:

Competitive salary based on experience, ranging from $125,000 to $200,000 annually.
