Job Title: Energy Associate

Location: Denver, Colorado

Type: In-office

Experience: 3+ years of experience in litigation and/or regulatory matters in a top law firm.

Are you an experienced attorney with a passion for energy litigation? An outstanding law firm is seeking a mid-level associate with 3+ years of experience to join their Energy Team in Denver. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex litigation and regulatory matters.

Responsibilities:

Provide strategic legal advice on commercial disputes, regulatory compliance, and operational matters.

Lead litigation efforts in energy-related cases, for on oil and gas development, and midstream infrastructure issues on both federal, private lands and more.

Handle a diverse range of cases involving environmental regulations, real estate conflicts, and business-related litigation.

Qualifications:

Admission to practice law in Colorado.

3+ years of litigation and/or regulatory experience in a top-tier law firm.

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Excellent writing and oral communication skills.

Strong research capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Federal or State Supreme Court Clerkship experience.

Familiarity with public lands issues and federal/state environmental review processes.

Experience in the energy sector.

Strong leadership and business development skills.

Attention to detail and the ability to manage complex legal matters.

Compensation & Benefits

Expected annual salary: $180,000 - $230,000+ (depending on experience and qualifications).

Performance and hours-based bonus program.
