Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal

Location: Rancho Bernardo

Hours: Full-time, onsite

Salary Range: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour, DOE

Practice Areas: Insurance Defense Litigation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft pleadings, discovery, medical and discovery summaries, demands, and other legal documents.
  • Draft discovery motions, oppositions, and replies.
  • Coordinate, assemble, and prepare documents for production and proceedings.
  • Investigate facts and laws of cases, search public records and other resources to prepare case analysis reports and determine causes of action.
  • Communicate with clients when necessary.
  • Work in a team-based structure.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of litigation experience (required).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and ensure timely completion.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal court rules and filing procedures.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and instruction.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) and Adobe.
  • Team-player attitude and reliability.
  • Prior experience in motion work not required.

Required Education:

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree
  • ABA Paralegal Certificate
