The Role
The firm is seeking a Transactional Associate Attorney to handle a diverse transactional workload. This role offers significant responsibility, direct client interaction, and the opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys in a collegial environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Review, analyze, and interpret governing documents, statutes, case law, contracts, insurance policies, and real estate-related documents.
  • Draft and revise a variety of transactional and advisory documents, including contracts, opinion letters, policies, governance documents, and related agreements.
  • Conduct legal research and provide well-reasoned written and verbal guidance to clients.
  • Participate in negotiations and assist in resolving legal matters efficiently and strategically.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients regarding matter status and strategy via phone, email, written correspondence, and in-person meetings.
  • Attend meetings as needed, including occasional evening commitments.
  • Support business development efforts, including client education initiatives and firm-sponsored programs.
Requirements
  • Active license to practice law in Colorado.
  • 5-10+ years of transactional and/or related legal experience.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred: real estate, corporate or nonprofit governance, contract drafting and review, fair housing, and employment-related matters.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex legal issues independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain legal concepts to non-legal audiences.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple matters and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal research platforms; experience with case management or billing systems is a plus.
  • Ability to accurately track time and manage workload in a fast-paced environment.
Base Compensation & Benefits
  • Base salary range: $70,000 - $140,000, commensurate with experience.
