Corporate Transactional Attorney

1360 billable | 175-220K + Bonus + Benefits| Hybrid San Diego | Path to Partnership | Relocation assistance and sign on Bonus available for qualified candidates

A boutique corporate law firm based in San Diego specializes in SEC matters, M&A, and general corporate counsel work. The firm is highly collaborative, and entrepreneurial in nature. Attorneys work closely together in a collegial, open-door environment with a strong emphasis on mentorship, professional growth, and long-term succession planning.

The firm is seeking a mid-senior level Transactional Attorney to join its growing corporate practice.

This is a highly visible, client-facing role ideal for an attorney who wants to take ownership of their work, help grow the practice, and ultimately step into a leadership or partnership position.

Experience & Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant transactional experience
• Strong background in corporate / transactional matters
• Financial Services experience is required
• Prior or adjacent litigation exposure preferred (ability to assist clients as needed)
• Active California Bar membership required
• Must be based in San Diego or willing to relocate

Base Salary:

• $175,000 - $220,000 (DOE)
• Sign-on bonus available for the right candidate
• Relocation assistance offered

Bonus Structure:

• Bonus eligibility begins at 1,350 billable hours

Origination & Book of Business:

• 30% origination fees on clients brought in
• Paid for the life of the client
• No cap on earnings

Partnership Path

There is a clear and realistic path to income or equity partnership, with discussions beginning as early as one year, based on performance, fit, and long-term alignment.
