A reputable civil litigation firm is seeking a highly experienced Senior Secretary to provide comprehensive administrative and legal support to a team of attorneys. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a litigation environment, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level administrative support to attorneys specializing in civil litigation
- Prepare, draft, proofread, and format legal documents, pleadings, correspondence, and reports
- Manage and maintain attorney calendars, including scheduling court dates, depositions, meetings, and deadlines
- File legal documents with state and federal courts (including e-filing)
- Coordinate discovery materials, document production, and case files
- Handle client communication, including intake, follow-ups, and status updates
- Maintain and organize case files (electronic and physical)
- Track deadlines and ensure timely filings in accordance with court rules
- Assist with trial preparation, including exhibit binders and witness coordination
- Manage billing entries, expense reports, and timekeeping
- Coordinate travel arrangements and other administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a legal secretary, preferably within civil litigation
- Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, court rules, and legal terminology
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) and legal software systems
- Experience with e-filing in both state and federal courts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail with strong proofreading abilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting multiple attorneys in a fast-paced law firm environment
- Familiarity with case management and document management systems
- Notary Public certification is a plus
