Job Description

Our Client, an award winning AM LAW firm with an extensive IP practice, is looking for 2 contract Docketing Specialist to join their team on long term basis.  Both IP Docketing Specialist will be responsible for providing comprehensive IP Docketing support, including both foreign and domestic patients.  

Responsibilities:

  • Review all correspondence pertaining to IP prosecution and enter all due dates into the docketing system  
  • Coordinate with attorneys and staff to ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Open new matters and input both foreign and domestice patent and trademark records into the database 
  • Generate reports as needed using the docketing database  
  • Clear dockets on a daily basis

Job Requirements

* Must have at least 5 years of IP Docketing experience
* Comprehensive knowledge of IP Docketing systems, with a strong preference for IP Manager
* Knowledge of both foreign and domestic patent prosecution rules
* Ability to multi-task and strong attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
